India Post GDS Recruitment Notification 2025: There is good news for the youth looking for government jobs. The youth who are dreaming of getting government jobs without giving exams are getting a great opportunity to get a job in the Indian Postal Department. India Post has announced recruitment for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts in 2025. India Post has released recruitment for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Post Master (BPM) and Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) for a total of 21,413 posts. Application forms have been sought through this recruitment for 23 circles across the country. The online application process has started from February 10 on the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

The recruitment process includes many states like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Northeast, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. Under this, Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of recruitments. Tamil Nadu is next.

Who can apply?

10th pass candidates can apply online by visiting the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in till March 3, 2025. However, the application will be corrected from March 6 to 8. To apply for India Post GDS Recruitment 2025, candidates should be between 18 and 40 years of age.

Candidates must have passed 10th class in Mathematics and English from a recognized board. Knowledge of local language up to 10th class, as well as basic computer skills is necessary. Apart from this, candidates should know how to ride a bicycle. Also, they should have adequate means of livelihood.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on the merit list prepared by the system. There will be no exam. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 10th, converted into percentage up to four decimal places. Shortlisted candidates will have to get their documents verified. A basic medical fitness test will be conducted if required.
