Stocks to Watch: Most of the world's stock markets are expected to support the domestic market today. Apart from this, after 11 consecutive sessions of selling, foreign investors bought more than sold on Tuesday. One trading day before, i.e. on Tuesday, February 18, there was a weekly expiry of Sensex and there was a lot of volatility in the market. However, at the end of the day, the BSE Sensex fell 29.47 points i.e. 0.04% to 75967.39 and the Nifty also slipped 0.06% i.e. 14.20 points to 22945.30 i.e. closed almost flat. Now talking about individual stocks today, the business results of some companies have come and the results of some are going to come today, due to which there may be a stir in them. Apart from this, along with four listings, there may be a sharp stir in some stocks due to corporate action. Here they are being told.

Stocks to Watch: These stocks will be in focus

Neath Port Talbot Council's Planning Committee has approved Tata Steel UK's proposal to deliver electric arc furnace steelmaking at Port Talbot. This is a £1.25 billion investment with £500 million of support from the UK Government. The investment will save 5,000 jobs at Tata Steel UK and reduce carbon dioxide emissions at the site by 90 per cent.

The board of Indian Overseas Bank has appointed Madhav Chandra Jha as the Chief Financial Officer of the bank from March 1, 2025. He is currently the Deputy General Manager of the bank. The current General Manager and Chief Financial Officer SP Mahesh Kumar is retiring on February 28.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers

Mahindra Lifespace Developers has partnered with Livingstone Infra for a cluster redevelopment project at Mahalaxmi with a gross development value of Rs 1,650 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam has received a project worth ₹554.5 crore from Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka). Under this project, 9 stations will be constructed along with all the works related to Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project.

The US drug regulator US FDA conducted a general GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) inspection at Piramal Pharma's Turbhe facility during February 11-17 and issued a Form 483 with 6 observations. These observations are primarily related to improvement of procedures and practices, and have nothing to do with data integrity.

Transformers & Rectifiers India

Transformers & Rectifiers India has received an order worth ₹166.45 crore from Hyosung T&D India for supply of single-phase coupling transformers and single-phase transformers for TBCB projects.

L&T Special Steels & Heavy Forgings has also acquired the remaining 26 per cent stake from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NCIL).

Container Corporation of India (CCI)

CCI has received an order to manufacture and supply 30 BLSS (spine car) rakes to the Railway Ministry's Braithwaite & Co. on a turnkey basis. The order is worth ₹689.76 crores excluding freight (including GST) and the supply is to be made by August 11, 2026.

A fire broke out at the Daman unit of Cello Industries, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cello World, on February 18. However, the fire brigade brought it under control quickly. There was no loss of life or property in this.

RBM Infracon has received an order worth Rs 7.22 crore from Reliance Industries for mechanical work of Phase-1B.

Bulk Deals

Airtel's promoter entity Indian Continent Investment has sold its 0.84% ​​stake for Rs 8,485.1 crore at an average price of Rs 1,660 per share. As per the block deal, these shares have been bought by ABS Direct Equity Fund, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust PLC, GQG Partners, Fidelity Institutional Funds, Goldman Sachs, ICICI Prudential MF, India Acorn Fund, JPMorgan Chase, Lazard Asset, National Pension System (NPS) Trust, Nordea 1 Sisav, RBC Funds, RedWheel Emerging Markets Equity Master Fund, SBI Life Insurance Company, Vanguard, White Oak India Equity Fund, and William Blair. Promoter Bharti Telecom also bought 0.2% stake in Airtel.

Today, the shares of Hexaware Tech are listed on BSE and NSE. Apart from this, PS Raj Steels, Maxvolt Energy Industries and Voller Car will be listed on NSE SME

F&O positions will not be available in Manappuram Finance shares today. At the same time, the ban on Deepak Nitrite has been lifted.
