Delhi Assembly session: Delhi Assembly session begins today, CAG report will be presented tomorrow, CM Rekha visited Jhandewalan temple

The first assembly session is starting today (24 February 2025) after the formation of the new government in Delhi. The proceedings of the House will begin at 11 am on Monday. Before this, Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena will administer the oath to Protem Speaker Arvinder Singh Lovely at Raj Niwas in the presence of the CM. Lovely will take over the chair of the Assembly Speaker before the election of the Speaker. All the newly elected MLAs will be administered the oath of office and secrecy. The Speaker will be elected in the afternoon. After 27 years, BJP will sit in the ruling party in the House. AAP, which has been in power for 10 years, will sit in the opposition.

The CAG report will be presented in the House tomorrow. The special session of the Assembly will run from February 24 to February 27.
