First strangled and then cut the body into pieces, angry father turned brutal as daughter went to neighbor's house

A man has been arrested in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh for strangling his five-year-old daughter to death and cutting her body into four pieces. The reason given by the police behind this incident was very shocking. The accused Mohit was angry that his daughter Tani had gone to his neighbors' house, with whom he had a quarrel. A senior police officer told the media that on February 25, they received information that the girl had gone missing from near her house.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Praveen Ranjan Singh told the media, "We registered a case and four teams were formed to search for him. During the search, we found a piece of his body. The next day we found the rest of the parts. By now, it was clear that he had been murdered."

He said that while we were questioning everyone in the case in a systematic manner, the girl's father disappeared. "The father gave his phone to his wife and disappeared. After he disappeared, we asked the family members about the events that took place before the girl went missing. When the father reappeared, he was questioned and he finally confessed to killing the girl and disposing of the body," the officer said.

Mohit told the police that his family and neighbour Ramu's family were very close earlier and would often visit each other.

He said, "A few days ago, there was a fight between the two families and they stopped meeting each other. Mohit repeatedly told his daughter to stop going to Ramu's house, but she still continued to go there and play."

He said, "On the day of the incident, Mohit saw his daughter coming from Ramu's house. This angered him so much that he made the girl sit on his bike, took her to a deserted place and killed her by strangulating her with her clothes. After this, he threw the body in a mustard field."

The senior police officer praised the work of the police in uncovering this heinous crime and said that more than 100 people were questioned during the investigation.
