'Supply of arms to Ukraine should be completely stopped in 30 days ceasefire' What kind of condition did Putin put before talks with Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin has put some conditions before the US and Donald Trump before ceasefire with Ukraine. Putin has demanded that all arms supplies to Ukraine should be stopped during the 30-day ceasefire offered by Trump. The Kremlin said that the two leaders will talk on the phone on Tuesday evening (IST). The Russian President wants arms supplies to Ukraine to be stopped not only from the US but also from Europe, but he is giving priority to stopping US aid to Ukraine.

According to a report by Bloomberg News, an official said that European countries do not want to stop the supply of weapons because this will give Russia a chance to gather weapons again while Ukraine will not be able to do so.

Many in Europe worry that Trump will cave in to Putin's demands, in part because he has praised Russia for years.

"We see this as an attempt to give the Ukrainian army a break in a difficult period. Russian troops are advancing on all fronts and under these circumstances a ceasefire can be seen as a way for Ukraine to strengthen its position," Putin's ally Yuri Ushakov was quoted as saying by the news outlet.

Washington and Moscow have expressed optimism about recent talks, but it remains to be seen whether Trump can persuade Putin to accept the US offer of a 30-day ceasefire, more than three years after Russia's invasion.

Kiev also urged Russia on Tuesday to accept a ceasefire.
