Cricketer Rohit Sharma has given another apartment on rent in Mumbai, the rent is Rs 2.6 lakh per month

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has given his property in Lower Parel, Mumbai on rent for Rs 2.60 lakh per month. Square Yards gave this information on Thursday. Square Yards said in a statement that it has reviewed the property registration documents of Indian Test team and ODI cricket team captain Rohit Sharma. The apartment rented by Sharma is located in Lodha Marquis – The Park. It is developed by Macrotech Developers Limited (Lodha Group). It is a ready-to-move residential project spread over 7 acres.

The apartment on rent has a carpet area of 1,298 sq ft (129.8 sq m) and includes two car parking spaces. The apartment was bought by Rohit Sharma and his father Gurunath Sharma in March 2013 for Rs 5.46 crore and is rented out for Rs 2.6 lakh, Square Yards said. The lease transaction attracted stamp duty of Rs 16,300 and registration charges of Rs 1,000.

Another apartment has been given on rent in the same project

Rohit Sharma and his father own another apartment in this project and it was put on rent for Rs 2.65 lakh per month in October 2024. He bought this apartment in 2013 for Rs 5.70 crore.

Lower Parel is one of the major residential and commercial hubs of Mumbai. It offers premium living spaces with seamless connectivity to business districts like Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Nariman Point.
