GT vs PBKS: The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) has started. The 5th match of IPL 2025 was played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). Punjab scored 104 runs in the last 6 overs. Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh shared an unbeaten 81-run partnership. Sai Kishore took 3 wickets from Gujarat. While Kagiso Rabada and Rashid Khan got one wicket each. Due to these innings, Punjab Kings scored a huge score of 243 runs.

How was Gujarat's score

Chasing a target of 244 runs, Gujarat scored 61 runs for the loss of one wicket in the powerplay. Captain Shubman Gill was dismissed after scoring 33 runs. Sai Sudarshan increased the pace of runs after a slow start and completed his half-century in 31 balls. Before getting out, he scored 74 runs in 41 balls at a strike rate of 180. During this, he hit 6 sixes and 5 fours. Sudarshan was caught out at the deep square leg boundary while trying to hit a six off Arshdeep Singh's ball in the 13th over. Punjab's team could not make a comeback after Jos Buttler was dismissed.
