The police reached the spot to stop the violence and bring the situation under control. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Archit Chandak said that the violence broke out due to misunderstanding. The situation is under control now. Our force is strong here. I appeal to everyone not to come out and not engage in stone pelting. Many police personnel have been injured in this violence, including DCP Chandak, who has been shot in the leg.

The DCP further said, "We called the fire brigade to douse the fire and took immediate action." He urged people not to believe in rumours and cooperate with the police. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reacted to the violence and appealed to the citizens not to believe any rumours and cooperate with the administration in the situation.
