Aurangzeb Grave Row: A big controversy has arisen over Aurangzeb's grave in Nagpur, Maharashtra. On Monday evening, two groups clashed violently in Nagpur. This incident took place in Mahal area, where both sides came face to face over Aurangzeb's grave. Stone pelting and arson started in no time. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the police immediately reached the spot and fired tear gas shells to control the crowd.

According to the information, a dispute arose over the sheet used during the symbolic burning of Aurangzeb's tomb. The police reached the spot to stop the violence and bring the situation under control. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Archit Chandak said that the violence broke out due to misunderstanding. The situation is under control now. Our force is strong here. I appeal to everyone not to come out and not engage in stone pelting. Many police personnel have been injured in this violence, including DCP Chandak, who has been shot in the leg.
JCB machine set on fire
The DCP further said, "We called the fire brigade to douse the fire and took immediate action." He urged people not to believe in rumours and cooperate with the police. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reacted to the violence and appealed to the citizens not to believe any rumours and cooperate with the administration in the situation.
Meanwhile, a JCB machine was set on fire during the violence in Mahal area of Nagpur. Tension has spread here after a dispute between two groups.

After this violence, Maharashtra CMO said, "The police administration is handling the situation after stone pelting and tense situation in the Mahal area of Nagpur. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has appealed to the citizens to fully cooperate with the administration in this situation. We are constantly in touch with the police administration and citizens should cooperate with them. Nagpur is a peaceful and cooperative city. This has been the permanent tradition of Nagpur. In such a situation, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has appealed not to believe any rumor and give full cooperation to the administration."
