Cracked UPSC through self study after B.Tech

Let us tell you that Anshika Verma is a 2021 batch IPS officer. She was born in 1996 and hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She did B.Tech from a college in Noida in 2018. After this, she started preparing for UPSC. Anshika studied on her own without any coaching and worked hard. She did not succeed in the first attempt, but she did not give up and continued her preparation.

Counted among the bright young officers

IPS Anshika Verma's first posting was as SHO in Fatehpur Sikri police station in Agra, where she performed her responsibility in maintaining law and order. After this, on 18 December 2023, she was made ASP in Gorakhpur. In her career so far, she has played an important role in strengthening public safety and law and order.

In Gorakhpur, Anshika Verma worked on many important cases, including the busting of scams like fake stamp and money mule. These cases were very important for the area and she played a major role in bringing the accused to justice. After these successful operations, she received a lot of appreciation from the police force and the local people.
