Which board is better for you?
In the year 1929, the government established a joint board called the Board of High School and Intermediate Education. In 1962, this board started functioning as CBSE. CBSE is a national session education board for private and public schools. More than 28,000 schools in India and more than 240 schools in international countries are affiliated with the CBSE board. At the school level, CBSE conducts board examinations for class 10th and 12th. The curriculum of the CBSE board is in accordance with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). It is recognized at the national level. If you want to succeed in exams like NEET, JEE, UPSC, then CBSE board can prove to be a better option for you.
The ICSE board was established in India in the year 1986. It is a private board and is run by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). Its syllabus is considered to be one of the most difficult in India. The ICSE board is recognized as a private education board by many international education systems. Like the CBSE board, ICSE also conducts examinations for 10th-12th. Education experts say that if we talk about science subjects, the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from class 7 to 10th is quite large. Every topic has been discussed in detail in it. Special importance is given to English in the ICSE board. In such a situation, it is easy to pass international entrance exams like IELTS and TOEFL.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It was established in the year 1968. It is a non-profit organization governed by a board of governors representing cultural and geographical diversity. Its focus is more on skill development. Experts say that this board focuses on developing analytical thinking and personal and professional skills. Along with this, a lot of attention is paid to academic writing skills.

UP board is the oldest board in the world
It is being said that the Uttar Pradesh Board is the oldest board in the world. The UP Board was established in 1921 through an Act of the United Provinces Legislative Council. This board conducted its first examination in 1923. It is one of the first education boards in India that adopted the 10+2 examination system from the very beginning. Before 1923, high school and intermediate examinations were conducted by Prayagraj University. According to media reports, for the first time in 1923, 5,744 students had registered for the board examination. Examinations were conducted in 179 centers. At that time, 5,665 of these students were from high school, while 89 students were from intermediate.
