Bihar Robbery Video: On Monday (March 10) in Ara, Bihar, armed robbers attacked the Tanishq showroom in a filmy style. They looted jewellery worth crores at gunpoint in broad daylight and escaped easily. This incident was captured on CCTV installed inside the showroom. This robbery took place at the Tanishq Jewellery showroom located at Gopali Chowk in Ara police station area. The people present in the showroom and the salesmen got scared after seeing the miscreants. The criminals took the people present in the showroom to a corner, threatening them with a gun.

They also snatched the weapons of the showroom security guard and fled. According to the showroom owner, the miscreants, who were eight to ten in number, created havoc for about half an hour, but the police could not reach on time. It is being told that two miscreants were shot in the encounter that took place after the robbery. However, the remaining four miscreants escaped with most of the looted jewellery. The police have reached the spot and are investigating the matter.

According to the information, the criminals have stolen jewelry worth about 25 crores. After the criminals fled, the police was immediately informed about the incident. According to the showroom employees, when the stock was being taken out, eight to nine criminals reached the showroom. Then they took all the employees under their control at gunpoint and carried out the robbery. The employees present in the showroom were held hostage and looted. One of the criminals was wearing a mask, while all the other criminals kept their mouths open.

It was told that first two criminals entered the shop posing as customers. After this, the robbery was carried out in front of everyone at gunpoint. During this, the robbers also beat up the employees. According to the report, there were two security guards in this showroom. The criminals first robbed a security guard of his gun by threatening him with a weapon. The employees allege that the police could not reach on time even after informing them about the incident.

According to India Today's report, there was an encounter between criminals and police near Babura on Ara-Chhapra route. Two miscreants were injured in this. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After the criminals carried out the robbery in broad daylight in a crowded area, questions are also being raised on the working style of the police.

Employees say that the robbers have taken away most of the jewellery. The stock is being tallied right now. The correct information will be available only after tallying the stock. According to the police, the criminals are being identified from CCTV footage. The police have detained some suspects and are interrogating them.

Showroom manager Kumar Mrityunjay said jewellery worth Rs 25 crore was looted besides cash. The jewellery looted included chains, necklaces, bangles and some diamonds. "It is the lapse of the officers. It was morning time. Not evening or night…. We were calling the police but there was no response," PTI quoted Kumar Mrityunjay as saying. He said two of his officers were injured as they were hit on the head with revolvers. "There were eight-nine robbers," he said.
