Bonus Share: 5 new shares will be available free on every share, 18 February is the record date

Gujarat Toolroom Share Price: Gujarat Toolroom Limited is giving bonus shares to its shareholders in the ratio of 5:1. This means that shareholders will be given 5 new shares of the same face value as bonus for every share of Rs 1 face value held by them. The record date for the bonus issue has been fixed as 18 February 2025. Shareholders whose names are in the records of the Register of Members of the Company or Depositories as beneficial owners of shares till this date will be entitled to get bonus shares.

The company is into trading of rare gems and precious metals. The company's board had decided to issue bonus shares in a meeting held on January 6. The share of Gujarat Toolroom Limited closed at Rs 12.25 on BSE on Friday, February 14. The market cap of the company is Rs 284 crore.

Gujarat Toolroom shares down 67% in one year

The stock has witnessed a decline of 67 percent in one year. Whereas in just 2 weeks the price has strengthened by more than 13 percent. The entire 100 percent stake in the company is held by public shareholders. The 52-week high of the stock on BSE is Rs 45.97 and the 52-week low is Rs 10.18. The upper price band for the stock is Rs 13.47 and the lower price band is Rs 11.03. The circuit limit is 10 percent.

September quarter profit Rs 6 crore

In the July-September 2024 quarter, the revenue of Gujarat Toolroom on a standalone basis was Rs 80.33 crore. Meanwhile, net profit was recorded at Rs 6.15 crore. Earnings per share stood at Rs 1.11 crore. In FY 2024, revenue on a standalone basis was Rs 205.90 crore, net profit was Rs 12.62 crore and earnings per share was Rs 2.27 crore. The company has not yet released the financial results for the October-December 2024 quarter.
