PM Awas Yojana: The central government started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in 2015 so that every poor person in the country has a roof over his head. This scheme, which has been running for the last 10 years, has not been able to reach many needy people. Meanwhile, the survey for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has started once again. In this connection, a survey is being conducted for the PM Awas Yojana in Bihar as well.
Let us tell you that a meeting was held on Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMAY) under the chairmanship of BDO Anand Prakash Singh in the Hasanpura block headquarters auditorium of Siwan last Sunday. Housing Assistant, Vikas Mitra and PRS participated in this meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to review the ongoing work under the scheme and plan the upcoming survey campaign. The BDO instructed all the concerned officials to speed up the survey work, especially to give priority to SC and ST beneficiaries.
Apart from this, it was also decided to run a special campaign from February 18 to February 28, in which special attention will be given to the survey of SC/ST beneficiaries. In this meeting, survey data related to various panchayats of the block was also shared, so that the status of the work could be properly analyzed.
A survey is being conducted regarding the plan
The BDO said that the survey work under the PM Rural Housing Scheme is going on at a fast pace. This survey will be completed by March 31. A special 10-day campaign will be run from February 18 to February 28, in which people from SC and ST category will be given priority. All housing assistants and PRS have been instructed to complete this work quickly and correctly.
It was told in the meeting that Vikas Mitras will identify SC/ST beneficiaries in their areas. After this, they will help the survey team so that the survey can be completed correctly and on time.
Survey data
The BDO said that so far a total of 1539 beneficiaries have been surveyed for the PM Rural Housing Scheme in various panchayats of the block. These include 154 beneficiaries in Gayghat Panchayat, 121 in Harpur Kotwan, 108 in Laheji, 174 in Mandrapali, 119 in Pakri, 165 in Phalpura, 127 in Piaur, 73 in Rajanpura, 115 in Sahuli, 117 in Sheikhpura, 150 in Telkathu and 116 beneficiaries in Usri Khurd Panchayat.
Housing supervisor, all housing assistants, PAAS and Vikas Mitras were present in the meeting. Everyone took a pledge to make this campaign a success.
