Where was the main center?
An official told PTI that the epicentre of the quake was near the Durgabai Deshmukh College of Special Education in Dhaula Kuan. The area, which has a lake nearby, has been experiencing small, low-intensity earthquakes once every two to three years. He said a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded here in 2015. A loud sound was also heard at the time of the quake.

People came out of their houses after the strong tremors of the earthquake
The tremors were felt in the capital region and neighbouring states as well, although there have been no immediate reports of any damage or casualties so far. People living in Delhi-NCR areas had rushed out of their homes due to the strong tremors.
