What is the auspicious time for Ghatasthapana
According to the Vedic calendar, the auspicious time for Ghatasthapana on the first day of Chaitra Navratri on Sunday, March 30 will be from 6:13 am to 10:22 am. Apart from this, Abhijit Muhurta will be from 12:01 pm to 12:50 pm, in which 50 minutes of time will be available. Ghatasthapana can also be done in Abhijit Muhurta.
Essential Materials for Navratri Puja
These items are needed for Navratri Puja. It includes Kalash, Gangajal, mango or Ashoka leaves, betel leaf, betel nut, coconut, red thread, mauli, camphor, roli, akshat, red cloth, makeup items, red seat, earthen pot, flowers, rice, cloves, cardamom etc.
What is the method of Kalash installation
Kalash Sthapana is done on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. For this, spread a red cloth on a wooden stand and place a picture or idol of Maa Durga. After this, meditate on Ganpati and put water, Gangajal, cloves, turmeric knot, betel nut, durva and coin in the Kalash. Place mango or Ashoka leaves and cover it with a lid and fill it with rice or wheat. If you are keeping coconut, make a Swastika on it and tie it with a red cloth. After this, take a vow to fast by worshipping Kalash and Maa Durga, offer flowers, garland, vermilion, kumkum, prasad to the mother and light a ghee lamp and recite mantras and do aarti.
