Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to sell 6,500 flats in Delhi. The authority is also giving 25 percent discount on the flats. Building and construction workers can apply for flats under this scheme till 31 March. Registration for DDA Shramik Awas Yojana and Sabka Ghar Awas Yojana started from 6 January. This scheme is going to close on 31 March.
Who can apply for Shramik Housing Scheme?
In this scheme of DDA , flats will be allotted on 'first come, first serve' basis. The authority has said that to get 25 percent discount in this scheme, it is necessary for the building and construction workers to be registered with the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board ( DBOCWWB ). Workers who are registered with the board till December 31, 2024, can apply in this scheme. Apart from this, workers registered in PM Vishwakarma Scheme will also be entitled to discount.
Where are these DDA flats located in Delhi?
DDA has built flats in Narela, Sirsapur and Loknayakpuram under this scheme. More than 6,500 flats are available in LIG, MIG, HIG and EWS categories under this scheme. Application in this scheme can be made online. For this, one has to go to www.dda.gov.in or https://eservices.dda.org.in. One has to log in with the help of PAN and other details. A fee of Rs 2,500 will have to be paid for applying. This will be non-refundable.
What documents will have to be submitted?
Before the possession letter of the flat is issued, the allottee will have to submit an income certificate of EWS status. Proof of registration in DBOCWWB or PM Vishwakarma Scheme will also have to be presented. Apart from this, some documents will have to be submitted, information about which will be available in the brochure of DDA Affordable Home Housing Scheme, 2024. Who can apply for Sabka Ghar Awas?
Under the Sabka Ghar Awas Yojana, flats will be allotted to people from economically weaker sections. Auto rickshaw, cab drivers, street vendors and people from SC/ST category can apply. Cab and auto drivers must have a permit and license issued by the Transport Department to apply. The booking amount for EWS flats is Rs 50,000.
