By having a healthy diet and exercising, weight and minor diseases in the body can be controlled. These things have been said in many researches. In such a situation, if you eat dinner at the wrong time, then many diseases can make you their victim. Not only this, it can prove fatal for diabetes patients. Eating at the wrong time can increase the blood sugar level rapidly. A problem very common with diabetes patients is that they eat late at night. In such a situation, the situation can get worse.
Ayurveda says that dinner should be taken before 7 pm. If a person already has diabetes, then they need to take even more care of it.
Why should diabetic patients not have dinner after 7 pm?
Actually, the digestive fire is very low in the evening. If you eat very heavy food during this time, then a large part of the food is not digested properly. In such a situation, toxins start forming in the body. Both toxins and phlegm have the same properties. When the amount of toxins in the body increases, it also increases the kapha dosha. Diabetes disease is also mainly caused by the increase of kapha dosha in the body. Therefore, if a person already has diabetes, then eating late at night can increase the problem even more.
Eating at night is very important
In such a situation, if you get late, do not skip dinner. This can increase the problem even more. If you have diabetes, then you should try to eat early. But if you still feel hungry after this, then you can eat something light. Eating light food at night is beneficial for health.
When is it best to eat at night and when is it bad
There should always be a gap of 2 hours between dinner and sleep. People who go to sleep immediately after eating dinner, their sugar level increases. Therefore, finish dinner by 7 pm or before that. Go to bed by 10 pm and sleep for 8-10 hours. This helps in controlling the blood sugar level. Along with this, the risk of many other diseases also decreases.
