ITC Dividend: When will shareholders get interim dividend of Rs 6.50 per share?

ITC Interim Dividend: Shareholders of FMCG company ITC are going to get an interim dividend of Rs 6.50 per share for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders was 12 February 2025. Now the shareholders are waiting for the dividend to be paid. ITC had announced that this dividend would be paid between 6 March and 8 March 2025. The dividend was announced in the board meeting on 6 February.

ITC's share price closed at Rs 401.50 on BSE on February 27. The face value of the share is Rs 1. The company's market cap is Rs 5 lakh crore. The stock has fallen 12 percent so far this year. Public shareholders hold 100 percent stake in the company.

5,638 crore profit in December quarter

ITC's revenue on a standalone basis stood at Rs 18,290.24 crore in the October-December 2024 quarter. Meanwhile, net profit was recorded at Rs 5,638.25 crore and earnings per share at Rs 4.34 crore. In FY 2024, the company's revenue on a standalone basis was Rs 70,105.29 crore, net profit at Rs 20,421.97 crore and earnings per share at Rs 16.39 crore.

Buying these two companies

On February 6, the company had informed the stock markets that it has entered into definitive agreements to buy 100 percent stake in Ample Foods Private Limited and Meat and Spice Private Limited. This purchase will also include Ample Foods' wholly-owned subsidiary Chao Chao Foods Private Limited. Meat and Spice has a 43 percent stake in Ample Foods.

Both these companies manufacture and sell ready-to-cook snacks and meals, sauces and condiments, roasted and deli meats, local and international marinades, cheese, frozen foods and snacks under the brand names Prasuma and Meatigo.
