There was a dispute between the husband and wife regarding the child's shaving ceremony. This small, minor dispute escalated so much that the husband and wife committed suicide. The wife committed suicide by hanging herself. After this, the husband also committed suicide by hanging himself. The police was investigating the scene of the incident when in the meantime the husband, who had left on some pretext, went to his ancestral home and committed suicide. Within 30 minutes, the news of the death of both the husband and wife created panic in the village. The incident occurred in Harrajpur village of Bakewar police station area of Etawah district. On receiving the information, CO Bharthana also reached the spot.
Due to the suicide of the husband and wife, their 4 month old son became orphan. It is alleged that the in-laws of the young man had threatened to send him to jail. It is said that the woman wanted to perform the last rites of the four month old son on Saptami. Whereas the husband wanted to perform the mundan ceremony of the son on Navami. There was a quarrel between the two regarding this matter.

According to media reports, 24-year-old Vishal was a resident of Harjapur. He lived with his wife Roshni and son in a rented house 200 meters away from his house. Roshni asked Vishal to get his son's head shaved. Vishal said that he would get it done on the day of Navami. Saying this, he went to drive the auto in the morning. Two hours later, when he reached for breakfast, he found his wife hanging from a noose at home. It is being said that Vishal's in-laws are in Shekhar village of Sirsaganj police station in Firozabad. As soon as his wife's family members called and informed him about this, they threatened to send Vishal to jail. After this, under stress, Vishal went to his ancestral home and committed suicide by hanging himself.

Roshni's father Deendayal said that Vishal called at 11 am. He told that Roshni had committed suicide by hanging herself. He told Vishal that the last rites should not be performed until he reaches the spot. Roshni was married to Vishal three years ago.
