The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi is on a Gujarat tour. He reached Gujarat on 7 March itself. Today (8 March 2025) on the occasion of Women's Day, he will go to Navsari in Gujarat. After this, he will leave for Delhi from here. Today, on the occasion of International Women's Day, the Prime Minister will participate in the Lakhpati Didi program organized in Vansi Borsi village of Navsari district. Here he will interact with Lakhpati Didis. He will also honor five Lakhpati Didis by giving Lakhpati Didi certificates. Today, only women will handle the security of PM Modi. In such a situation, this time in the Gujarat tour, a unique moment making women power proud will be recorded in history.
According to media reports, 2,165 constables, 187 inspectors, 61 sub-inspectors, 19 DSPs, five DSPs, one IG and one ADG including women police personnel will be responsible for the security of PM Modi from the helipad to the venue.
PM Modi will honor 1 lakh Lakhpati sisters
One lakh women from Navsari, Valsad and Dang districts will participate in the 'Lakhpati Didi Sammelan' to be held in Vansi-Borsi. PM will also interact with 10 beneficiaries and felicitate five Lakhpati Didis by giving them certificates. A short movie showcasing the development of Gujarat under this scheme will also be shown. During the event, PM will also launch the G-Safal initiative to promote economic self-reliance among women from Antyodaya families. G-Maitri Yojana will provide financial assistance and support to startups that are working towards creating a conducive environment for rural livelihoods. G-Safal Yojana will provide financial assistance and entrepreneurship training to women associated with self-help groups of Antyodaya families in two aspirational districts and thirteen aspirational blocks of Gujarat.

PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 2,587 crore during his Gujarat visit. PM will inaugurate the 450-bed Namo Hospital in Silvassa. After this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 62 projects from Sayli Stadium.
