Bhadra will start today (13th March) at 10.04 am. It will end at 10.30 pm on the same day. The auspicious time for Holika Dahan is after 10.54 pm on 13th March. It will last till 12.45 am. The first lunar eclipse of the year will also be on 13th March.
Know who is Bhadra
According to Sanatan scriptures, Bhadra is the sister of Shani Dev i.e. daughter of Sun God. Bhadra is considered to be of short temper. Due to Bhadra's short temper, auspicious and manglik works are not done during the period of Bhadra. Doing these works during this period does not give auspicious results to the seeker. For this reason, it is advised not to do auspicious and manglik works during Bhadra period.

Wrap the thread around Holika five, seven or eleven times. Sit in the south direction, fill a urn with water and chant the mantra Om Holikaay Namah.
